Phoebe Halliwell
Phoebe Halliwell, Played by Alyssa Milano, was originally the youngest sister of the Charmed Ones. Just after the death of her oldest sister Prue, the newest Halliwell Paige was introduced, making Phoebe the middle sibling for the first time in her life. Phoebe’s individual power was unlike her sisters before her. Prue, Piper, as well as Paige all had active powers, where Phoebe had the passive power of premonitions. Due to this passive power, Phoebe was viewed by many as the weakest of the four sisters, usually the target for any approaching demon. However Phoebes lack of an active power was more then compensated for by her talent for spell casting and training in the marshal arts. As the years went by Phoebe’s powers grew stronger and she develops the powers of levitation, empathy, and psychic reflection.
Phoebe took a little bit longer than her sisters to find the career right for her, but after going back to school she landed a job with a local newspaper called The Bay Mirror. Within her first year working with the paper, Phoebe becomes a celebrity around San Francisco due to the popularity of her advice column called Ask Phoebe.
Paige Matthews, played by Rose McGowan, was not one of the original three Charmed Ones. Shortly after the death of the eldest sister Prue, it was revealed that Patty Halliwell (the mother of the charmed ones) had conceived a forth daughter. In order to hide the unfaithful origin of Paige’s birth, Patty decided to leave her with the church. Raised as an only child by her adopted parents Mr. and Mrs. Matthews, Paige is the last sister to come into her powers. She struggles with trying to live up to the legacy left behind by her oldest half sister Prue, but ends up deciding to create a legacy of her own. As a half witch, half Whitelighter (guardian angel), Paige has the most active powers of all the sisters. Her powers include Telekinetic Orbing, Orbing, Healing, and the ability to create and orbe shields. As a half white lighter, she not only defends the world from evil, but also has the responsibility of guiding future Whitelighters (Charges) in the right direction and protect them from dark lighters.
When Paige first came into the series she worked as a social worker, helping misguided teens find their way. However after taking on her duties as a Whitelighter, she decided to spend the rest of her time working as a recruiter at Magic School
Paige Matthews
Piper Halliwell, played by Holly Marie Combs, was also one of the original Charmed Ones. After the death of her oldest sister Prue, Piper was regarded as the most powerful witch of all time. Her individual power consisted of the control and manipulation of molecules. At her very will she could freeze an entire room full of people, or blow off a demons arm. For a large portion of the series, Piper struggles with accepting the fact that she is a witch. From endless ambushes by demons and supernatural forces that endanger her family, Piper longs for mortality long into the series.
Originally a chef, Piper was the owner of a popular nightclub called P3, a tribute to the power of three. After the birth of her two children, Wyatt and Chris, Piper sold the club and opened a restaurant called Halliwells, this time a tribute to her sisters.
Apart from being a powerful witch herself, Piper is the mother of the prophesized Twice-Blessed child, Wyatt. Predicted to be the most powerful witch to ever walk the earth, Piper spent most of her time protecting Wyatt from Demons that intend to turn him into a dark witch or warlock.

Prudence "Prue" Halliwell
Prue Halliwell, played by Shannen Doherty, was one of the origional charmed ones when the show first aired. The oldest of the three sisters, Prue was said to be the most powerful witch of all. Her individual Wiccan power was the ability to move things with her mind as well as project herself in a astral form.
When Prue was a young girl, long before she obtained her powers, she had witnessed her mothers death at the hands of a water demon. From that point on, Prue was in a way forced to grow up to help her grandmother (Penny Halliwell) take care of her two younger sisters. Many years later Prue found herself working as an appraiser at a number of different auction houses. With the inception of her magical powers, she decided to follow her dreams and pursue her childhood dream of being a photographer. Shortly after she obtained a job as a photojournalist working for 415 Magazine.
However, despite her extraordinary powers, Prue was killed at the end of the third season by a demon by the name of Shax, temporarily disabling the power of three.
